We know that planning a trip comes with questions, so we’ve answered some of the most common ones below.

General Questions.

  • Our camper vans are fully equipped for your adventure! Each hire includes:

    • Comfortable bedding and linens

    • Fully stocked kitchenware (pots, pans, utensils, plates, etc.)

    • Fridge and gas hob

    • Heating and lighting

    • Outdoor furniture and awning included

  • We can accept most countries on a referral basis, so please get in touch and we’ll be delighted to assist. You also must be at least 25 years old with a minimum of 2 years’ driving experience.

  • Yes, comprehensive insurance is included in the hire price. You can also add extra drivers for a small fee.

  • We offer unlimited mileage on all our hires, so you can explore without restrictions.

  • Yes! We’re pet-friendly. A small additional cleaning fee applies for pets.

Booking and Payments.

  • Booking is easy! You can:

    1. Book directly on our website.

    2. Call us at 07365 956958

    3. Email us at enquiries@harriscampers.co.uk

    A 50% deposit secures your booking, with the balance due 6 weeks before your hire date.

  • If you need to cancel:

    • More than 30 days before your hire: Full refund of the deposit.

    • Less than 30 days: Deposit is non-refundable.

  • Yes, a refundable security deposit of £500 is required. This covers any damages or incidents and will be refunded within 7 days of the van’s return (subject to inspection).

Collection and Return.

  • We’re open for collections between 9:00 AM–5:00 PM.

  • Pick-up: From 2:00 PM on your first hire day.

    Return: By 11:00 AM on your final hire day. Late returns may incur additional charges.

  • We understand that delays can happen! Please let us know as soon as possible. A late fee of £50 per hour applies after 11:00 AM.

On the Road.

  • All our vehicles are covered by 24/7 roadside assistance. Contact details will be provided in your welcome pack.

  • You can park at registered campsites, or look for other spots that have a clear sign that allows overnight parking.

    Please do not park on passing places or single track roads.

  • Yes, you can! Please let us know in advance, as additional insurance and fees apply for international travel.

  • You are responsible for any parking or driving fines incurred during your hire. Please inform us immediately and pay the fine directly.

Other Questions.

  • Yes we have secure parking for all customers who hire from us.

  • Yes! We provide a full walkthrough of the camper van upon collection and offer an instructional video for first-time users.

  • Absolutely. Optional add-ons include:

    • Bike racks: £25 per hire

    • Child seats: £15 per hire

    • Portable BBQ: £20 per hire

  • We kindly ask that you return the camper van in a clean condition. A cleaning fee of £50 applies for excessive mess or pet hair.

  • Our camper vans can comfortably sleep up to 4 people, perfect for families with children.

  • The camper van will be provided with a full tank of fuel. Please return it with a full tank to avoid a refuelling charge.
