These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the rental of camper vans by Harris Campers Ltd (“the Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) to the customer (“you” or “your”). By signing the rental agreement and/or using our services, you agree to comply with these terms.
1. Booking and Payment
1.1 Booking Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 25% of agreed hire is required to secure your booking.
1.2 Final Payment: The remaining balance must be paid 7 days before the rental start date.
1.3 Accepted Payment Methods: Payment can be made via bank transfer, credit/debit card, or other approved methods.
2. Driver Requirements
2.1 Minimum Age: All drivers must be at least 25 years old or no older than 75 years old and hold a valid UK/EU/International driving licence for a minimum of 2 years.
2.2 Driver Verification: A copy of your driving licence, proof of address, and a DVLA licence check code must be provided prior to the rental period.
2.3 Additional Drivers: Any additional drivers must be approved in advance and meet the same criteria as the primary driver.
3. Insurance
3.1 Standard Cover: Comprehensive insurance is included in the rental price.
3.2 Exclusions: The insurance does not cover:
• Damage caused by negligence or prohibited use (see Section 6).
• Personal belongings.
• Damage to the interior due to misuse.
3.3 Excess: A refundable security deposit of £500 is required to cover any insurance excess or damages not covered by the policy.
4. Collection and Return
4.1 Collection: Camper vans are available for collection at Unit 75, 37 Rosyth Road, Glasgow, G5 0YE, between 2 PM and 5 PM.
4.2 Return: The vehicle must be returned by 11 AM on the agreed return date. Late returns may incur additional charges of £50 per hour.
4.3 Condition on Return: The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as it was provided, with a full fuel tank and clean interior. Charges apply for cleaning, refuelling, or damages.
5. Cancellation Policy
5.1 Cancellations by You:
• More than 30 days before the rental start date: Full Refund.
• Less than 30 days before the rental start date: May be eligible for partial refund.
5.2 Cancellations by Us: In the unlikely event that we must cancel your booking, we will offer a full refund or an alternative vehicle, subject to availability.
6. Prohibited Use
You must not:
• Drive the vehicle off-road or on unsuitable terrain.
• Use the vehicle for illegal activities.
• Smoke or allow pets in the vehicle without prior approval.
7. Liability
7.1 We are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage incurred during the rental period, except where caused by our negligence.
7.2 You are responsible for all fines, penalties, or charges incurred during the rental period.
8. Breakdown and Emergencies
8.1 All vehicles are covered by roadside assistance. In case of a breakdown, contact the provided emergency number.
8.2 Repairs must not be undertaken without prior approval from Harris Campers Ltd.
9. Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your personal data. Your information will only be used for booking and insurance purposes, in accordance with GDPR regulations.
10. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the bespoke itinerary planning service by Harris Campers Ltd (“the Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) to the customer (“you” or “your”). By signing the rental agreement and/or using our services, you agree to comply with these terms.
1. Service Description
1.1 The Bespoke Itinerary Planning Service is an optional add-on to your campervan hire.
1.2 The Service provides a personalised travel itinerary based on the information you supply, including (but not limited to) your interests, preferred pace of travel, trip duration, and comfort preferences.
1.3 The itinerary may include suggested routes, overnight stop ideas, points of interest, experiences, and general travel guidance. It is provided for inspiration and planning purposes only.
2. No Booking or Reservation Guarantee
2.1 Unless agreed in writing, the Bespoke Itinerary Planning Service does not include making reservations or bookings on your behalf.
2.2 We do not guarantee availability of campsites, attractions, ferries, restaurants, or experiences referenced in the itinerary.
2.3 Prices, opening hours, access restrictions, and availability are subject to change and remain outside our control.
2.4 We will not be liable for any cancellations or rescheduling due to adverse weather conditions or road accidents.
3. Client Responsibilities
3.1 You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information when requesting the service.
3.2 You are responsible for checking and complying with local laws, road regulations, campsite rules, weather conditions, and access restrictions.
3.3 You are solely responsible for confirming bookings, permissions, and suitability of any suggested locations or activities.
3.4 You are responsible for any missed assignments, including pre-booked campsites, ferries, activities or excursions.
4. Nature of the Itinerary
4.1 All routes, timings, distances, and driving estimates are approximate.
4.2 Travel conditions in Scotland can vary due to weather, road works, seasonal access, and rural limitations.
4.3 We do not guarantee that the itinerary can be completed exactly as planned, and flexibility is required.
5. Limitation of Liability
5.1 The itinerary is provided in good faith and based on general knowledge and available information at the time of preparation.
5.2 We accept no liability for losses, delays, cancellations, accidents, injuries, fines, damages, or additional costs incurred as a result of following the itinerary.
5.3 Use of the itinerary is entirely at your own risk.
6. Changes and Revisions
6.1 One reasonable revision to the itinerary is included, provided the request is made within a reasonable timeframe.
7. Fees and Refunds
7.1 Fees for the Bespoke Itinerary Planning Service are non-refundable once work has commenced.
7.2 If the campervan hire is cancelled, the itinerary planning fee remains payable unless otherwise stated.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 All itineraries remain the intellectual property of Harris Campers.
8.2 The itinerary is for personal use only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or resold without written permission.
9. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
