  • Hi, I’m Jamie Lindsay, the founder of Harris Campers.

    After 16 years in the finance industry, I decided it was time to swap spreadsheets for something a little more adventurous. When my wife, Taylor, and I found out we were expecting our first child, I knew it was the right moment to take a leap of faith and start something of my own. That’s when Harris Campers was born—a business built on the values of freedom, flexibility, and unforgettable journeys.

    Since then, life has been full of amazing new chapters—most importantly, welcoming our beautiful baby girl. Starting this business has given me the chance to spend more time with family, meet incredible people, and help others discover the joy of life on the road.

    Outside of work, I’m all about keeping active. I’m a big fan of music, love getting out to watch or play sport, and I try to squeeze in a run or gym session when I can (usually between naps and nappy changes!). Whether it’s a long walk, a weekend escape, or a festival playlist in the van—I believe the best moments are the simple ones shared with people you love.

    I can’t wait to welcome you to the Harris Campers family and help you hit the road for your next great adventure.

  • Hey, I'm Essi! 

    I swapped the freezing woods of northern Finland for the misty highlands of Scotland a few years ago, and I've fallen in love with everything about the country: the culture, the accents, and the majestic landscapes! 

    Since making the move, I've travelled through the Highlands, islands and dozens of charming towns, creating content while soaking in the scenery. Although I’m based in Glasgow, my heart belongs in the Highlands, and I try to escape the city whenever I can. I’ve fallen in love with Scotland so much that I’ve even learned to enjoy whisky (you might as well!) 

    When I'm not travelling around Scotland, I'm most likely exercising, reading, or doing extreme day-trips to all around Europe. I'm a firm believer, that every day can be an adventure!

  • Hiya, I’m Millie!

    After moving up to Glasgow for university, I quickly decided to make Scotland my home and start ticking off my ever-growing, outdoorsy bucket list. From island-hopping to Munro-bagging, I’ve made a pretty good start, but am forever searching for new ways to get off the beaten track...

    I’m a long-distance runner and (aspiring) triathlete! At the weekends, I love to get out of the city and into the hills. You’ll likely find me embarking on a muddy trail run, a chilly wild swim, a hilly group ride (or refuelling in a café!).

    I’m super passionate about sustainability, and believe that to travel responsibly is to travel slowly and locally. For me, the best adventures are those that engage with local culture, support local communities, and respect local wildlife. At Harris Campers, we can’t wait to help you do the same! 

  • Hello, I’m Joshua. I’m one of the friendly faces behind the scenes at Harris Campers. Outgoing and full of energy, I’m most at home when I’m on the move — whether that’s helping guests get set up for their adventure or heading off into the hills myself.

    A keen Munro bagger, I love exploring the Scottish Highlands and know first-hand what makes a great road trip. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me keeping active, chasing the next challenge, and making the most of the outdoors — which makes me perfectly suited to helping our customers do the same.
